At TKNY SKIN, we’ve spent years working with skin in all its different stages, including acne, sensitivity, pigmentation, texture, aging, and everything in between. The goal has never been perfection. It’s getting skin to a place where you feel good living in it.
We’ve seen firsthand how much that can matter. One of our clients came to us with acne that had reached a point where she didn’t feel comfortable stepping outside without full coverage makeup. We worked with her skin over time, adjusting treatments as it changed. Seeing the difference in her skin was incredible, but seeing her become comfortable without hiding it was even better. Those are the results that stay with us.
A big part of what we do starts with listening. We want to know what your skin has been through, what you’ve tried, what worked, what didn’t, what you’re using at home, and what you’re actually hoping to change. The questions our clients bring into the treatment room are just as important as what we see when we look at the skin.
There’s no standard formula here. Every skin concern is looked at closely and every treatment is chosen with intention. Sometimes that means taking a more corrective approach. Sometimes the skin needs less, not more. Knowing the difference is part of the work.
Our approach brings together advanced modern skincare and traditional hands on practices that have been around for generations. We don’t believe one has to replace the other. Technique, touch, products, and technology all have their place when they make sense for the skin in front of us.
While results are important, so is the experience of getting there. A serious skin treatment doesn’t need to feel clinical or rushed. We want you to be able to switch off, settle in, and leave feeling restored, not only treated.

Meet the Founder
Takami Luna – Founder and CEO
Takami, also known as Luna, began her career in skincare in 2009, working in Newport Beach and Los Angeles, California. Her early work focused on advanced facials, skin correction, facial sculpting, and face lifting. Working closely with clients also introduced her to the connection between stress, tension, the body, and the skin, which later led her to explore energy work and alternative healing.
Her path eventually brought her from California to NYC, where she continued developing her approach to skin, facial structure, sculpting, and hands on treatment.
Takami is a paramedical skincare specialist with experience working with acne, pigmentation, scarring, aging skin, and other complex skin concerns. Her work combines corrective skincare with facial sculpting, lifting, and muscle focused work, with every treatment shaped around the skin and face in front of her.
Her experience includes extensive work with DMK and working as a product expert for the brand through a high end company. Over the years, her work has expanded to include advanced facials, microneedling, microcurrent, lymphatic drainage, facial sculpting, and face lifting treatments.
Takami is also the founder of TAKAMI KORUGI, her signature Japanese inspired approach to face lifting and sculpting. Developed through years of hands on work, TAKAMI KORUGI focuses on facial muscles, definition, lifting, and the natural contours of the face.
For four consecutive years, Takami was a top seller and one of the most requested facial aestheticians at a premier NYC facial studio. Working with a wide range of clients shaped the way she works today. No two faces are approached exactly the same.
TKNY SKIN grew naturally from that experience.
TKNY SKIN brings together advanced skincare, facial sculpting, lymphatic work, lifting, and restorative touch. The focus is simple. Healthy skin, visible results, and treatments that still feel good to receive.
We believe good skincare is something you build over time. Consistency and the right treatments can support the way skin looks and feels as it changes with age, improving clarity, texture, softness, circulation, and overall skin health.
